"NOTHING HAPPENS JUST BECAUSE, THERE IS ALWAYS A LEASON BEHIND EVERY STRUGGLEcartoons_49.gif"

Guess who?
Guess who?

Hey everyone! It's your most favorite and lovable girl, Kelly. And if you don't know me, I will be more than glad to do the honors of introducing myself. My name is Kelly Caroline B., I'm 15 years old (currently), I'm also in 9th grade (which means I'm a freshmen -BOO I know!) I recently moved here from Brazil (for the record, when I say recently, I'm talking 5 years so it's not like I have been here for 6 months or anything). I finally got a hang of the new culture (it is about time don't you think?). Anyway, I fell in love with all the wonderful human beings I got to share every single day with including all my friends, classmates, teachers and other school staff who always cared for me. My life has been a great adventure filled with successes, failures and unforgetful memories. Along the way, I have discovered my greatest and silliest fears, talents (which surprisingly are a lot), goals/ dreams, and new hobbies. For example: I have always admired photography, poetry, art and fashion. I enjoy watching movies (seriously, im a movie junkie), reading- not just magazines you guys!, camping up in Maine (yes, girlie girls like camping too!), shopping with my friends and volunteering to do practically anything that involves kids. Although there are things i like, I have recently found out some that I don't like: getting anything below a B-on test, having to dissect POOR animals, jogging, drinking coffee (there goes something I will never try again), reading depressing articles on the news and having to spend whole weekends doing NOTHING but homework (teachers, you know who you are). Just in case I haven't mentioned it, I am the oldest in my family... you would think that's good, but then again who gets blamed for things that happened when you're not even around (think hard...). Well, that is all for now guys. Hope I made you all a little less grumpy or bored a laugh wouldn't kill right. - K.

My Dreams <3

Poetry, short stories, long stories and letters. I can't say much more. How am I expected to explain how it feels like to open a page on my notebook and let my mind run, take off and fly away with my imagination and creativity... because even if I tried I can't fully demonstrate the feeling of creating life with nothing but pen and paper. I can express love, hate, fear, jealousy, curiosity... everything! And when it comes to books, I guess you can say I'm a bookworm. Finding seconds of the day that I sneak a little reading, sitting in the library searching for new novels to read ( the librarians know me by name)... I feel like a kid in a candy store when I enter a library. Funny to think, when I was ten, I told myself I would never learn to like reading unless it had big colorful pictures, I mean how could you sit and read so many pages filled with tiny words and enjoy it? But here I am now. Who would have known?

Traveling -Paris, Scotland, Italy, London, Rome,Hawaii... all places I plan on visiting, maybe even living on. All paces that are extremely relaxing and full of history to share, but I have always felt a certain passion for France. The language, the culture and all of the beautiful landmarks have always delighted me. I plan to take all four years of French class and study in Paris for a couple months when I reach college. I have only learned the basics so far, and I admit it is a lot of work, but I am a hundred percent in love with it. And the interesting thing is, the language itself has some Portuguese and English mixed in it. It is almost as if I'm not even being forced to attend the class since i enjoy going to it so much.

Making a Difference - Whether it will be planting trees in a local park in my neighborhood, starting a campaign to help provide health and food for the poor or volunteer reading books to kids in hospitals all over the nation, I know I have a voice and I can use it to inspire other to use theirs. I always enjoyed helping people. Sometimes I volunteer helping kids with their work or even if I have to sweat under the sun for 6 hours straight cheering for a lung, heart or brain cancer marathon (and believe me I did all those!). I will do it with a smile on my face because I am addicted to that feeling you get when you see the faces of those that you have helped.
